When Books POP of the Paper: Building Social Emotional & Early Literacy/Writing Skills Session 2

In this session we will discuss how building literacy skills (including emotional literacy) is critical for young children, define best practices in early literacy and writing, explore books and “Book Nooks” from the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL), and create expansion activities for additional children’s books that will not only enhance children’s learning in the classroom but will make it fun for you and for them! Presenter: Pam Pace Education Specialist NC Healthy Social Behaviors Initiative 5 DCDEE contact hours. Must attend BOTH sessions to receive credit. SSPC 6:30-9:00 pm REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 2, 2017 Entrance is not allowed if more than 15 min late.
